PSA Grants Lundin Consent for North Sea Exploration Well

Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway announced Friday that it has granted its consent for Lundin Norway AS to drill an exploration well in block 16/1 in the North Sea.

Drilling on exploration well 16/1-28 S, which belongs to production license 338, is scheduled to begin in March this year and will last for around 110 days, according to PSA.

The well will be drilled by COSLInnovator, which is a semi-submersible drilling facility constructed at the Yantai Raffles Shipyard in China.
