Permian Pipeline Open Season Kicks Off
WhiteWater Midstream, LLC (WWM) launched a binding open season Wednesday for its proposed Steady Eddy natural gas pipeline in the Permian Basin.
The 23-mile intrastate project would entail constructing a 24-inch diameter gas pipeline and metering stations from near Loving in Eddy County, N.M., to northern Culberson County, Texas, according to WWM’s open season notice.
The approximately 500,000 million British thermal unit per day-capacity pipeline would link multiple receipt points in Eddy County to at least one delivery point in Culberson County, WWM noted. The open season notice states that potential receipt points include:
- Sendero Midstream Carlsbad Processing Plant
- Lucid Energy Palo Duro Plant
- Lucid Energy Roadrunner Plant
- San Mateo Midstream Black River Plant
Potential delivery points include:
- El Paso Natural Gas – Line 1100
- Red Bluff Express Pipeline
- Agua Blanca Pipeline
The open season runs until Feb. 15 and the target in-service date for the pipeline is the first half of 2021, WWM noted.
