Oil Prices Up Slightly for the Week
WTI and Brent crude oil prices finished lower Friday but are up slightly against their Dec. 13 settlement prices.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and Brent crude oil prices finished lower Friday but are up slightly against their Dec. 13 settlement prices.

WTI for February delivery lost 74 cents Friday, settling at $60.44 per barrel. The light crude marker traded within a range from $60.02 to $61.20. Compared to last Friday’s close, WTI is up less than one percent.

The February Brent contract price ended the day at $66.14 per barrel, reflecting a 40-cent decline. For the week, Brent is up 1.4 percent.

Reformulated gasoline (RBOB) fell slightly Friday. January RBOB shed well under one cent to settle near $1.71 per gallon. RBOB is up three percent versus its week-ago settlement price.

Unlike the other commodities tracked by Rigzone, Henry Hub natural gas ended Friday in positive territory. January gas futures gained 5.5 cents to close at $2.33. The gas benchmark is up 1.3 percent week-on-week.
