Petris Strengthens Management

Petris Technology announced the appointment of Jerry Martin to Vice President of Western Hemisphere and the arrival of two new product managers, Greg Palmer and Stephan Dumothier, and an account manager, Mike Zyglicki, to the Houston office of Petris.

Jerry Martin has been appointed as Vice President of Western Hemisphere, effective immediately. In this role, Martin will direct sales efforts and lead operational support of Petris' solutions in the North and South America. Most recently, Martin has served as the Vice President of Sales for Western Hemisphere. Prior to joining Petris, Martin held the position of President and CEO of ZEH which was acquired by Petris in 2009.

In addition, Petris has brought several industry experts on board to further the company's growth. Petris welcomes Greg Palmer and Stephan Dumothier to the product management team and Mike Zyglicky to the western hemisphere account management team. Greg Palmer joins Petris as product manager for PetrisWINDS Operations Management Suite (OMS). Palmer comes to Petris with more than 20 years of drilling, production and software industry experience and was most recently at Halliburton. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting from the University of Houston and a B.Sc. degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. Palmer is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Stephan Dumothier, product manager for the data management portfolio of products (including PetrisWINDS Enterprise, Analytics, DataVera, OneTouch and OneSource), comes to Petris with 14+ years of software experience in the oil & gas industry including 9+ years in management roles across USA, Europe and North Africa. He was most recently a manager at Schlumberger Information Solutions. He holds a Post M.Sc. degree in computer science & earth sciences, a M.Sc. degree in computer science, and a B.Sc. in computer science from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI).

Also joining Petris is Mike Zyglicki, the newest account manager for the western hemisphere. Zyglicki brings 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas market from working at both PGS and Schlumberger. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Management & Industrial Engineering from the Silesian Technical University in Poland and an MBA from the University of Houston.
