ClampOn to Supply Subsea Equipment to Chevron GOM Projects
ClampOn has secured the order for numerous subsea sand monitors and pig detectors for the Jack & St. Malo projects. The Jack & St. Malo projects lie in 7000 feet (2134m) of water and about 270 miles southwest of New Orleans in the Walker Ridge area. Expected start-up is fourth quarter of 2013. The development will be tied back to the Jack & St. Malo regional hub.
The Subsea sensors from ClampOn are the only acoustic sensors with atmospheric and high pressure chambers, pipe contact verification, electronic beam welding and dual independent electronics. These qualities make ClampOn the preferred supplier of non-intrusive sensors for applications worldwide.
