Pertamina Discovers Additional Crude Oil, Gas Reserves

Pertamina EP said Monday that it has discovered total an additional 61 million barrels of crude oil and 619 million cubic feet of natural gas reserves at several of its blocks recently.
"This ensures the growth of Pertamina EP's output," Syamsu Alam, exploration director of the unit of PT Pertamina said in a press release.
The additional reserves were discovered at the blocks in Indramayu, Bekasi and South Sumatra, Alam said.
During the first half of 2010, Pertamina EP produced 130,400 barrels a day of crude oil, up from 127,100 barrels a day in the same period last year.
