Claxton Strengthens Rental Inventory
Claxton, an Acteon company, has announced that additional rental equipment is available for rapid call-off directly from the company's Dubai base.
The equipment newly on offer includes riser tension rings and tension systems, flushing and brushing tools, hot tapping equipment from 2 to 36 in., and cold cutting equipment from 7 to 30 in. Claxton's industry-leading fleet of subsea and inspection cameras can now
also be mobilized directly from the Middle East. In addition, tools and personnel to support wellhead maintenance are available.
Nick Dale, commercial base manager, Claxton Dubai, said, "Claxton has a well-earned reputation for providing high-quality equipment on a call-off basis, so we are very excited to announce the strategic growth of our Dubai inventory.
"Clients have been very clear in telling us they that need equipment that can be mobilized quickly from within the Middle East, and it is our goal to meet this need with an evergrowing stock of equipment. We are convinced that Middle Eastern customers will see genuine value in our high-quality rental tools and engineering services will that enhance their projects."
Claxton's Dubai base, a facility of nearly 370 m2 in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, has already proved invaluable to several major operators and national oil companies by providing riser tensioning, hot tapping and wellhead maintenance services.
