Oliver Valves Selected for Angola Project



Oliver Valves was selected to supply subsea and topside valves for the Kizomba Satellites project on Block 15, offshore Angola. The project will create new wells feeding into the existing Kizomba A and B facilities. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of Twinsafe single unit double block and bleeds valves for the topside portion of the project, and a range of small-bore gate valves, needle valves and ball valves for the subsea sections. The Kizomba project is situated roughly 90 miles (145 kilometers) off the coast of Angola, spanning 988,422 acres (4,000 square kilometers). ExxonMobil holds a 40% operating interest in the block; Eni holds 20%; BP holds 26.67%; and Statoil holds the remaining 13.33%.
