Castleguard Completes Well In East Texas

Castleguard Energy, Inc., a Dallas-based independent oil and gas company, reports completion of the Inman A2, a natural gas well in the Mings Chapel Field near Gilmer in East Texas.

The well, drilled to a total depth of approximately 12,064 feet, is flowing initially at an average rate of 2,100 Mcf per day. Production is been sold to Sulfur River. "What we like about the Mings Chapel Field is its history of solid, long-term natural gas production," Scott Heape, Castleguard Chairman, said. "This kind of long-term production complements our successful wells in the Minden Dome in Webster Parish, Louisiana.

"Based on the success of the Inman A2, we are quite pleased to have three additional drilling sites in the Mings Chapel Field ready to go," Heape said.

Castleguard Energy, Inc. holds working interests in properties located in Texas, Louisiana and Alabama. Castleguard focuses on development projects, joint working relationships and non-operated properties.
