Bredford Dolphin to Spin Bit in Norwegian Sea

RWE Dea Norge AS received consent to conduct exploratory drilling using the Bredford Dolphin semisub on exploration well 6507/7-14 S in the Halten Terrace area in the Norwegian North Sea. The well is located on the Zidane 1 prospect in Production License 435 in waters measuring 1,210 feet (369 meters). Drilling will commence by the end of May 2010 and should last between 81 and 105 days, depending on the result of the drilling. RWE Dea is the operator of PL 435, holding a 40% interest; Norwegian Energy Company (Noreco) holds 20%; Wintershall Norge holds 20%; and Edison International holds the remaining 20% interest.
