Entek Encounters Hydrocarbons in GOM Well
The A-11 well on North Padre Block 975 has logged pay at multiple levels including the B7 primary target objective. The well reached a total depth of 7,983 MD (2,433 meters) and 7,573 TVD (2,308 meters) and encountered all objectives. Currently, the operator is running a 5-inch production liner to test the total depth of the well. The B7 interval will be completed first to produce the initial targeted 4 BCF of natural gas and test the remaining sands potential for an additional 2 BCF in the future after depleting the B7 interval. It is estimated the well will take an additional 15 days to complete and tie-in to production through the Block 975 A platform.SubseaIQ provides focused, in-depth coverage of offshore field development activities around the world, with daily updates on hundreds of offshore fields and facilities.
