Rockhopper Completes Logging at Sea Lion Prospect

Rockhopper announced that the Ocean Guardian semisub completed wireline fluid and pressure testing, and obtained multiple pressure readings and fluid samples from well 14/10-2 on the Sea Lion prospect. The obtained samples will be shipped to a dedicated laboratory since the semisub is not equipped with facilities to perform an analysis. However, observations suggest that the samples are oil. The sample chambers filled rapidly, indicating a good quality reservoir with no evidence of any free water. Pressure data was sound with most of the test points located in a good-quality reservoir. Rockhopper plans to run a liner and will apply to suspend the well for future testing at a later date. The Sea Lion prospect is located on Block 14/10 in Production Licenses 032 and 033 on the eastern basin margin of the Falkland Islands. Rockhopper wholly owns and operates the prospect.
