Primeline Reaches TD at Well in East China Sea

Primeline Energy has reached the planned total depth of 9,469 feet (2,886 meters) in the LS 35-3-1 exploration well in Block 25/34 East China Sea. During the drilling operations, sandstone intervals with gas and weak oil shows were encountered at the third target zone. These results are based only on collected data and are not definitive. Electric logging and if warranted, drill stem testing will be required to determine whether there are producible hydrocarbons in place. Now, the well will be deepened to a depth of 9,541 feet (2,908 meters) to penetrate through the sandstone sequence with hydrocarbon shows. Block 25/34 comprises an area of 1.7 million acres (7,006 square kilometers) in the East China Sea, about 68 miles (110 kilometers) offshore in water depths of 246 to 312 feet (75 to 95 meters). Primeline serves as the operator of the block.
