Oliver Valves Launches New Sales Office
British manufacturer Oliver Valves has launched a new sales office in Houston, Texas.
The company has traded in the United States market for over 20 years, and has built a multi-million dollar turnover business in the territory.
The new office -- situated at 10651 Shadow Wood Drive -- will accommodate a sales team supporting Oliver Valves' customers in the region, working alongside the firm's distribution partner, Texas-based AWC.
The facility will also allow the company to host training events for customers and sales engineers.
The launch coincides with the company's United States operation being awarded a $1 million contract by AMEC to supply topside double block and bleed valves for the Kizomba Satellites project on Block 51, offshore Angola.
Mark Davis, USA vice president of Oliver Valves said, "We don't want to change a winning formula. The great success we have enjoyed in the United States is based not only on the quality of our products, but also on our excellent customer service -- and the new office will allow us to continue delivering this quality as we expand."
Bob Wright, Financial Director, said, "This is a major step for our business in the United States. There is massive potential for expansion and the new office and its dedicated sales team will allow us to achieve this growth."
