KCA DEUTAG's Engineering Division Strengthens Team
RDS has appointed Rodrigo Rendon as Head of Business Development - Engineering & Major Projects.
Mr. Rendon has over 15 years experience in the international oil and gas industry and joins RDS after a number of roles with engineering and management consulting companies. He started his career as an offshore and onshore field engineer for Schlumberger and continued thereafter performing lead technical and operations postings. Latterly, Rodrigo was Business Development Manager for a leading subsea consultancy, pursuing work in the North Sea and internationally. Together with being fluent in three languages, Rodrigo holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in International Economics and Management.
He will be responsible for identifying and pursuing projects with drilling engineering and operations content. He will also target new markets and play a key role in defining RDS' future business strategy and in the implementation of the Group's business development activities.
