Energas Completes 4th Kentucky and is now Drilling #5

Energas Resources has successfully completed its fourth natural gas well in eastern Kentucky. This well is estimated to be flowing at an initial rate of 42,000 cubic feet (42 MCF) of natural gas before stimulation. The rig moved yesterday afternoon and is currently drilling well #5.

Energas has now successfully completed 4 wells with 3 of the wells flowing at rates higher than the average for this area. "We feel blessed with the fast start in this project," said company President George Shaw, "These shallow wells are very cost effective and can be drilled quickly. I'm excited to see what Energas can accomplish in a year's time."

Additionally, 4,000 feet of gathering pipeline has been constructed to the first two wells and facilities at the wellheads have been installed.
