Petro Vista Confirms New Producer in Brazilian Block
The 7-TTG-1DP-SES development well on the Tartaruga field was drilled to a total depth of 11,302 feet (3,445 meters). A net pay interval of 101 feet (31 meters) was identified based on mudlog shows, electrical logs and petrophysical analysis. Logging data on the well identified 11 zones of interest and strong oil and gas shows were identified throughout the reservoir section. The Penedo reservoir, P13, will be perforated first during completion operations, however the partnership is considering the possibility of a dual completion to achieve the highest rates possible. Oil from the field is of good quality 41 degree API. Currently, a workover rig will be brought on location to conduct completion operations and initiate production from the well within the next two weeks. Once completed, the well will be the second well in production on the block.SubseaIQ provides focused, in-depth coverage of offshore field development activities around the world, with daily updates on hundreds of offshore fields and facilities.
