2H Offshore Completes CVA Work at Mirage
2H Offshore completed the design, fabrication and installation verification work for the Mirage field. The field's development consists of production tied-back to the ATP Titan facility via dry tree top tensioned risers. Two steel catenary risers are used for the exportation of oil and gas processed fluids and a surface BOP high-pressure drilling riser is used for platform drilling. 2H's scope of work included the design, fabrication and installation of the export SCRs and the design of the production and drilling of top tensioned risers. As the certified verification agent, 2H ensured that the design, fabrication and installation of the riser systems complied with industry codes and standards. The Mirage field is located on MC Block 941 in a water depth of 3,800 feet (1,158 meters) in the GOM.
