OGX Hits Oil Pay in BM-C-42 Block

OGX identified an oil-bearing interval in the Aptian section of the 1-OGX-7A-RJS well on the Huna prospect. The well encountered an oil column of about 100 meters with around 115 feet (35 meters) of net pay in carbonate reservoirs. The Ocean Lexington semisub is continuing to drill and should reach a final depth of 13,779 feet (4,200 meters). The Huna prospect is located in the BM-C-42 block, roughly 53 miles (86 kilometers) off the coast of Rio de Janeiro in waters measuring 150 meters.
