AWE Resumes Drilling at Hoki-1 Offshore NZ

AWE announced drilling has resumed on the Hoki-1 exploration well after repairs were made to the drilling mast on the Kan Tan IV semisub. The well is currently at a depth of 4,938 feet (1,505 meters) with casing set and cemented, and total depth is planned for 11,713 feet (3,570 meters). The Hoki oil prospect is situated in license PEP 38401 in the Taranaki Basin offshore New Zealand. The prospect is operated by AWE, which holds a 50% interest.
