Cirrus Outlines 2010 Dutch Drilling Program

Cirrus Energy exercised its option to use the Noble Lynda Bossler jackup to drill two offshore wells in the Netherlands. The first well scheduled in the 2010-drilling program is the M01-04 well on the M01-Delta prospect in the M01a license. The primary reservoir target for the well is a Triassic-aged Bunter sandstone in a structural closure mapped on existing 3D seismic. Cirrus plans to spud the well in mid-April to a planned total depth of 13,123 feet (4,000 meters). Following the completion of the M01-04 well, the rig will skid over to the M07-A production platform to drill the M07-07 well. The deviated appraisal well is targeting Jurassic sandstones that were previously tested in the M07-05ST well drilled in 1996. The appraisal well is designed to target the equivalent Jurassic sandstones in a down flank location. If the well is a success, the operator will complete it as a producer and tie it into the existing M07-A field.
