Oliver Valves Receives Major Industry Certificates

Oliver Valves, a UK-based manufacturer of high performance valves used by the world's largest oil and gas firms, has been awarded the latest accreditation for excellent quality management from the International Organization for Standardization.

Following a comprehensive assessment of its management systems and procedures, the company has been approved and accredited to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.

Steve Williams, quality manager at Oliver Valves said, "Oliver has been certified by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance for its Quality Management System since it was first assessed in 1987.

"Since then, the certificate has been renewed each time the standards have been updated and this latest award demonstrates our dedication to continually improving our quality standards and commitment, to ensure we have the reputation as the best valve manufacturer in the global market."

As well as this, Oliver Valves has also re-qualified for the Achilles Joint Qualification System (JQS), a database used by companies operating in the Norwegian oil and gas sector for third-party procurement.

The companies using Achilles have an annual expenditure of more than £8.5 billion.

Steve Williams continued, "Our inclusion on the JQS database is vital to our plans for growth in the Norwegian market, and it is another testament to our high standards of quality and commitment to our customers."
