DOF Subsea Awarded Contract for BOP Recovery Ops in India
DOF Subsea USA has been awarded a contract by Boots & Coots, Inc. for the provision of DP II construction vessel for a BOP recovery operation in the Bay of Bengal, India.
DOF Subsea will be utilizing the Company's vessel MV Geoholm outfitted with 2 XLS work-class ROVs, survey and subsea intervention services to assist the drill rig in regaining access to the well via the BOP. The intention is to safely plug and abandon the well before recovering the BOP.

It is especially important for DOF Subsea USA which will be responsible for the management of the vessel from Houston, thereby facilitating the expansion of its local expertise in project management, vessel operation and subsea intervention to fulfil the project requirement."
