Aker Extends Cosalt's North Sea Equipment Contract
Cosalt Offshore has been awarded a three-year contract extension by Aker Solutions' division Aker Offshore Partner Ltd worth around £1million per year.
The work involves Cosalt Offshore fulfilling all the division's tooling and lifting equipment requirements in the North Sea. The deal is for three years with options to extend for a further two years.
Cosalt Offshore Commercial Director Lisa Mitchell said, "We are delighted Aker Solutions has renewed its agreement with Cosalt Offshore and reinforced our reputation for providing our customers with an excellent service. This is the latest in a string of multi-million pound long-term deals we have secured spanning the whole of the North Sea and helps underpin our ongoing growth strategy.
"Our focus is very much on promoting safety at all times while offering a cost-effective, customer-orientated service. As well as providing tooling and lifting equipment for Aker Offshore Partner Ltd, we will fulfill a safety testing role for them."
