Energy Transfer Equity Offers $1.75B of Senior Notes

Energy Transfer Equity announced its intention, subject to market conditions, to offer $1.75 billion of senior notes in a public offering. ETE intends to use the net proceeds from this offering, together with borrowings under its new $200 million revolving credit facility to be entered into concurrently with the offering of the notes, to repay all of the outstanding indebtedness under its $500 million revolving credit facility, to repay all of the indebtedness outstanding under its term loan facility, and to terminate interest rate swap agreements.
