Proserv Expands into Larger Facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai

Proserv Middle East has significantly expanded with the opening of a new facility to meet the company's ambitious growth plan. The company had outgrown its old premises and has now moved into a new site in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This facility has approximately a 5,000 square meter build up area and a plot of approximately 8,400 square meters.

This new state of art fabrication site has been custom designed to enable us to fulfill our business strategies and meet our growth expectations. The facility also ensures the best possible production of panels, systems and chemical skids, while the new set up allows for maximum efficiency.

The fabrication facility will also include a three ton Jib crane with a span of 11 meters, for material handling. An Amanda CNC Laser Cutter machine is also installed in a dedicated area. This machine is capable of 5' x 10' maximum sheet size in various materials such as stainless steel and Aluminium among others. In addition several other machines have been installed including a Davii Rolling machine and an Amada CNC bending machine in the fabrication area. The addition of this machinery will allow us to improve our fabrication capacity significantly.

The assembly is divided into two areas, one for smaller units and one for wellhead control panels and chemical injection skids as well as other larger units. With a dedicated testing area for in-house testing and one area for client testing prior to delivery, the efficiency is noticeably improved already.

"The old building had simply not enough space to allow us to keep up with the tremendous growth that we have experienced in the last years," said Arve Martinsen, Technical Manager for Proserv Middle East.

"In addition to these two assembly areas we are building a 1,800 square meter assembly area for larger units. This will have a 10 ton overhead crane for the manufacturing and assembly of larger chemical injection skids and metering skids amongst others," emphasized Arve Martinsen.
