Seismic Equipment Solutions Appoints New CFO
Seismic Equipment Solutions (SES) announces the appointment of Rick Luke as Chief Financial Officer. Luke, an industry financial leader, will be a key member of SES' executive team and participate in overall corporate strategic planning.
Mr. Luke comes from WellDynamics, the world's leading provider of intelligent completion technology to the upstream oil industry, where he served as Chief Financial Officer.
Over his 27 year career in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Luke has served as both financial manager and general manager in numerous countries. Prior to joining WellDynamics, Mr. Luke was with Halliburton, where he served as Vice President of Operations for Europe/Africa Region, based in London, from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that assignment, he worked as Director of Shared Services for Europe and Africa for Halliburton and held several financial and administrative management positions in Europe, Africa and the United States.

Luke holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
SES announced the following changes to its executive management team.
Jose Medina has been named Senior Vice President, Technical Solutions.
"With the rapid expansion of our rental equipment pool over the last few years, and the constant change in new recording system technology we needed to put a greater emphasis on technology solutions. Jose's appointment strengthens our commitment to continue delivering exceptional solutions and value to our customers," said Glen Huscroft, President and CEO of SES.
Jose has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico and over 30 years of industry experience delivering technical solutions while working with SES, ION, Sercel, and Matrix Industries (a company dedicated to repair and sales of mainly Texas Instruments and ION equipment).
In addition to the Technical Solutions role, Jose will continue to coordinate all sales related activities for the following areas: Mexico, Argentina and Chile.
Gustavo Solorzano has joined SES as Vice President, New Business Ventures. With over 18 years of oil-related finance/marketing experience, Mr. Solorzano is tasked with developing new business and extending SES' overall global expansion initiatives.
Prior to joining SES, Gustavo held management and finance positions with Schlumberger, Geokinetics, and worked in Venezuela as Country Finance/Controller from 2004 to 2006. Gustavo has worked throughout Latin America (Venezuela, Trinidad, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Mexico and Ecuador) as well as North America. He holds an MBA, CPA and underwent training at Harvard in Strategic Marketing.
