INTECSEA Names Uri Nooteboom as New COO
INTECSEA has announced appointment of Uri Nooteboom as Chief Operating Officer effective October 12, 2009. Nooteboom will have
operating responsibility for INTECSEA's four global regions reporting to Ed Smith, CEO of INTECSEA, part of the WorleyParsons Group.
Nooteboom brings 20 years of leadership experience with INTECSEA, most recently as Senior Vice President for its US, Latin America and Caribbean (US/LAC) operations. He will continue to oversee US/LAC as he assumes the management role for the regional operations in Europe/Africa, Asia/Middle East, and Australia/New Zealand.
"Uri is our most senior officer and has actively sponsored benchmark deepwater projects around the world," said Ed Smith. "We are pleased to appoint Uri to this role where he will bring a depth of experience to ensure consistent delivery and continued growth of INTECSEA's specialty engineering and project management services for our global clients. Uri will be a prime mover in transforming INTECSEA to capitalize on the significant growth opportunities through the WorleyParsons family while maintaining our core values and differentiators."
Nooteboom replaces Chris Tam. We appreciate Chris Tam's contribution to INTECSEA and wish him success in his future endeavors.
