TAQA Energy Extends Well Services Contract with Seajacks
TAQA Energy has extended a well services contract for work in the southern part of the North Sea with Seajacks from 30 to 60 days firm.
"Seajacks' program for supporting well intervention with TAQA Energy in the Dutch North Sea is extended from one to two wells," commented Managing director of Seajacks UK, Blair Ainslie. "This extension further proves the demand for the versatile Seajacks vessel," he continued.
Seajacks will be working on well stimulation of subsea gas wells in the Dutch sector of the Southern North Sea.
Contract start up is mid November 2009, as soon as Seajacks Kraken has returned from its present contract in Canada. Total contract value is approximately US $8 million.
