InterOil Kicks Off '09 Drilling Campaign Onshore Colombia

InterOil Exploration & Production announced that the 2009 drilling campaign have started. The first well commenced drilling last week on the Mana license in Colombia. This is the first well in the five well 2009 drilling campaign in Colombia. The remaining four wells will be drilled back to back.

InterOil Peru will spud the first well in the three well drilling campaign in Block III next week. The wells will be drilled back to back and is expected to be completed in the end of October.

InterOil is confident that the completion of new wells in both Colombia and Peru will contribute to increased production in the months to come.
