Bonanza Oil & Gas Names New Chief Engineer
Bonanza Oil and Gas has announced the addition of Mr. Kurt Mire as Chief Engineer.
Mr. Kurt Mire is a senior reservoir and production engineer with more than 26 years of experience in Exploration & Production. This experience has been gained at major and independent oil companies and Tier I consulting firms such as Ryder Scott Company & Netherland Swell & Associates. Mr. Mire’s domestic onshore experience includes Louisiana, Texas, Gulf of Mexico, Mid-Continent and Rocky Mountains.
International experience includes Mexico, South America and Asia. He is focused on reservoir and production engineering, operations, reserves calculation, Monte Carlo simulation, nodal analysis, field studies and property evaluations. He has a long standing relationship and professional history with Smith Petroleum Management team members.
Mr. Mire's engineering and operations background allows Bonanza to bring operations of its properties in-house, creating greater cost efficiencies and controlling expenses.
