Bladt Industries Successfully Installs Nini East Platform Off Denmark
Months of planning and production have now resulted in Bladt Industries A/S delivering the Nini East platform. The installation of the platform in the Danish part of the North Sea has recently been completed.
The Nini East platform is an unmanned satellite platform comprising of a jacket and a topside. The 3,500 tonnes steel structures is fabricated for DONG Energy and Bladt Industries A/S has also been in charge of installation after load out from the company's own quay facilities in Aalborg, Denmark.
The Siri Cluster
DONG Energy is the operator of the Siri field which is located 270 km NW of Esbjerg in the Danish sector of the North Sea.
The Siri license also includes two smaller sites, Stine 1 and 2, developed using subsea installations, and from 2003 also two unmanned platforms, Nini and Cecilie, which send the oil to Siri via subsea pipelines.
