Cameron Acquires MaxTorque for Flow Control Division
Cameron has acquired the MaxTorque line of products and services. The business will now be offered through Cameron's Flow Control division, part of the company's Drilling & Production Systems group.
MaxTorque designs, manufactures, markets, and sells high performance quarter turn and multi-turn gear operators for motorized and manual applications, subsea operators, Navy specific operators, overrides, and engineered solutions. The company has a manufacturing plant in Limerick Maine that will continue to develop, sell, and service these products.
"The acquisition of MaxTorque is an excellent complement to the products and services offered by the Flow Control division," said Britt Schmidt, Flow Control president. "We are excited about the opportunities that the addition of MaxTorque provides to Cameron."
Cameron's Flow Control division markets surface and subsea chokes, quarter-turn and linear actuators, gears, partial stroke devises, and safety systems under the CAMERON®, WILLIS®, DYNATORQUE® and LEDEEN™ brand names.
Cameron is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries.
