Britannia Field Resumes Normal Output

The Britannia Field located in the U.K. sector of the North Sea is almost back to normal production levels. Production restarted on Friday after a nine-day maintenance period but was forced to shut down again on Saturday due to a technical fault. The field restarted on early Sunday.

The field is jointly operated jointly by ChevronTexaco and ConocoPhillips. Britannia produces an average of 700 million standard cubic feet of gas and 35,000 barrels of condensate a day.
