US Grants Patent for Global Energy's Activator Hydraulic Submersible Pump
Global Energy Services announced that that the United States Patent & Trademark Office issued Patent No. 7,431,572 B2 specifically relating to its Activator downhole hydraulics submersible pump (HSP).
The Activator HSP is a leading dewatering technology used to prolong the life of water prone gas wells. The United States is one of the biggest market opportunities for the Activator HSP given the large amounts of mature gas wells and growing shale gas wells for which the Activator HSP is ideally suited.
"This patent in the United States protects our leading technology in a huge emerging market," said Derek Begin, President and CEO. "Our continued success in both Canada and United States, with patent protection throughout North America, positions Global Energy with a solid foundation and future."
Effective immediately, Global Energy also announces the resignation of Farhan Farshori, Vice President of Corporate Development. We thank Mr. Farshori for helping grow the Activator HSP and Production Services product line and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
