Poyry Promotes Steve Fogg to Oversee European Oil and Gas Services

Leading engineering and consultancy firm Poyry has announced the promotion of Steve Fogg to president oil and gas Europe.

Fogg, who will also remain managing director of the company's Aberdeen office, will see his responsibilities expand to overseeing the corporate management, growth and commercial success of the company's European oil and gas services. Poyry's offices in the UK, Norway and Spain will report to him.

Grant Innes, president oil and gas at Poyry said, "Steve is one of the most experienced engineers in the industry and I am delighted to announce his promotion. I have no doubt that under his leadership our oil and gas business in Europe will continue to grow from strength to strength."

Steve joined Poyry, then IGL Oil and Gas Consultants Ltd, in 1996, and became operations director in 2003 before being promoted to managing director in 2007, following the company's acquisition by Poyry. With almost 30 year's oil and gas industry experience, Steve has worked for several major oil and gas and engineering companies. With a background in both project and process engineering, he is also regularly called upon to provide advice in technical matters relating to the resolution of commercial disputes.
