Grenland Group Gears Up to Assemble Generator Sets for BP

Grenland Group ASA

Grenland Group has signed a new contract with Dresser-Rand for the assembly of four generator sets for BP's floating production ships
bound for Block 31 in Angola.

"Grenland Group has since we started cooperating with Dresser-Rand 20 years ago, delivered more than 40 gas turbine driven generator
sets and compressor drivers, and we are very pleased to sign another contract," said Petter Hoven in Grenland Group.

The contract value is approximately NOK 25 million. The market for FPSOs (Floating Production Storage Offloading) looks very promising, and over the next five years, more than 100 such projects are planned worldwide, i.e. in West-Africa, Brazil and Asia.

More Deliveries to Come

Deliveries of gas turbine driven compressors and generators to Floating Production Storage Offloading vessels, generate significant
business for Dresser-Rand at Kongsberg. The company has options on 11 more generator sets.

In 2004, a partner contract was signed, stipulating Grenland Group to be Dresser-Rand's main supplier of mechanical services.

The Angola generator sets will be delivered by the end of 2009.

Delivery to Skarv Field

Four generator sets bound for BP's FPSO for the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea was delivered last week from the yard in Drammen. They
will be transported to Samsung's yard in South-Korea for installation on the vessel under construction.
