Petrobras Clarifies: Bidding Process for P-61 Platform Cancelled

Petrobras clarifies that the bidding process for the construction of platform P-61 has been cancelled because the values of the proposals it received were considered too high given the current market conditions. On account of such cancellation, the Company will analyze other alternatives to develop the Papa-Terra field Project, which is located in the Campos Basin, off the Rio de Janeiro coast.

Contract to Build a Drilling Rig

Regarding the news of the cancellation of an agreement signed between drilling rig vendor companies and a shipyard, the Company clarifies that such fact has no bearing on the agreement signed between the vendor and Petrobras. The Company has already requested clarifications to its vendor and will continue undertaking all of the actions it considers pertinent to have the rigs available to it so it can fulfill its business plan.
