BJ Services Makes Key Management Appointments in North America

BJ Services Company announced that several key management appointments have been made with the company's Tubular Services line in North America.

Alan Casson has been promoted to the position of area manager -- USA, Mexico and Canada. In his new role, Casson is tasked with the continued growth of the company’s tubular services division. He oversees business development, finance, quality assurance and health, safety and environmental programmes. With 31 years experience in the oilfield services industry, Casson brings a wealth of operations and management experience, particularly in casing and tubing running services. Prior to this recent promotion, Casson worked for six years as business development manager -- Middle East for Tubular Services in Dubai. Before joining BJ Services in 1993, he was employed for 15 years by several oil services companies in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Casson is based in Houston. Casson reports to Kenny Watt, vice president -- Tubular Services, who is based at the Tubular Services global headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland.

In addition, Paul Adams has been named area manager -- Gulf of Mexico with responsibility for overseeing project management, finance and operations carried out throughout the region, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico. Before being promoted, Adams worked as an account manager for five years with Tubular Services in Broussard, Louisiana. Prior to the acquisitions of Petro-Drive and Cajun Tubular Services in 2003, Adams worked as service manager -- North America for eight years. Adams began his career in the oil industry in 1980, and is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. He reports to Alan Casson.

Finally, Greg Braquet has been appointed operations manager -- Gulf of Mexico. He is responsible for overseeing all tubular services operations carried out in the Gulf of Mexico from the Tubular Services base in Broussard, Louisiana. He also plays a central role in driving new business efforts throughout the US GoM arena. Braquet brings with him 29 years experience in the oil and gas industry, with special emphasis upon casing and tubing running services. He joined BJ Services this year, following 29 years working for two major oil services companies in Broussard. Braquet is from Vinton, Louisiana, and lives in Scott, Louisiana. He reports to Paul Adams.
