Saratoga Expects to See 1MMcf/d Production at Grand Bay Field in Weeks

Saratoga Resources has provided further updates on recent operational activities in the Grand Bay Field.

The SL 195 QQ#15 well has been successfully recompleted and is awaiting hook-up to Saratoga's facilities. It is expected to be producing at a rate of approximately 1 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMCFPD) within the next 2-3 weeks. Saratoga’s second recompletion, the SL 195 QQ#205 is now producing 301 barrels of oil per day (BOPD), 946 thousand cubic feet of gas per day (MCFPD), plus 0 barrels of water per day (BWPD) through a 15/64" choke with 1050 # FTP. The SL 195 QQ#149 well is still cleaning up following another successful gravel pack recompletion with an expected production rate of 70 BOPD within the next week. The Tetra 8 rig is now completing a gravel pack completion of the 10B sand in the SL 195 QQ#204 well. This well is expected to produce at a rate of 200 BOPD by the end of this month.

The Axxis Justice rig is continuing to drill the GPLD A #191 development well. 7-inch intermediate casing was run in 9 7/8" hole to a depth of 11,025' measured depth (MD) or 9,475' true vertical depth (TVD). Saratoga has been deploying logging while drilling (LWD) technology that allows measurement of geologic formation properties in real-time while drilling. The Company is encouraged by results to date with up to 20 potential hydrocarbon zones penetrated updip to wells that have previously produced. The company is currently drilling ahead towards a projected total depth of 12,443' MD (10,830' TVD), which is expected to be reached within the next 2 weeks.

The Grand Bay Field is currently producing in excess of 1,000 BOPD from 60 wells net to Saratoga's 100% working interest.
