InterOil Puts One More Mana Well On-Stream
InterOil has just completed one more production well successfully in Colombia which tested 450 bopd. The well is already tied into the Company's production facilities. InterOil has a 70% interest.
"The Mana field continues to give us encouragement, particularly in the Southern part of the field where we are now drilling. The initial production in the southern area is higher and there is potential for drilling further wells next year. We are confident that this will add significant volume to our production in Colombia in the future," said Nils N. Trulsvik, CEO of InterOil E&P ASA.
InterOil is also continuing the drilling of shallow wells in Colombia that has shown potential for production. Well 1 continues to produce 177 bopd. Well no. 2 is now completed and is a present undergoing extended testing. InterOil will continue, back to back, this shallow well program with 6 wells by year end.
