Siem Offshore Appoints New Director
David Mullen has been appointed as new Director of Siem Offshore Inc. and will serve until the next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Mullen currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Ocean rig ASA.
Prior to working at Ocean Rig, he was the Senior Vice President of Transocean Inc. where he was responsible for the worldwide marketing, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions activities. Between 2001 and 2004, Mullen was the president of Schlumberger Oilfield Services, North and South America.
Prior to this, Mullen served as vice president of Human Resources for Transocean Sedco Forex, Inc. He has also been the director of personnel for Geco-Prakla, managing director of Schlumberger (Nigeria) Ltd., and the district manager for Eastern Venezuela, Wireline & Testing.
Mullen began his career with Schlumberger in 1983. Mullen holds a degree in geology from Trinity College, Dublin, and a master's degree in geophysics from the University College of Galway, Ireland.
