Clough Appoints New Group Chief Operating Officer
Bill Boyle has been appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer for Clough Limited and will take up his position on September 8, 2008 following relocation from Houston, Texas.
Boyle is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Purchasing and Supply professional with 25 years of international contracting experience, mainly in the oil and gas industry sector but also in civil engineering construction. Mr Boyle entered the oil industry in 1987 with Total in Aberdeen following several years in the building and engineering sectors in the United Kingdom. This was followed by executive positions with several organisations including Total, Technip, Wood Group and Subsea 7.
"Clough has had a good year and we move into 2008/9 with a strong order book giving a solid platform for controlled growth," stated John Smith, CEO. "Bill will work alongside me to provide additional management capacity to develop the company as we strive for excellent operational performance."
