Boots & Coots Names New Chief Financial Officer

Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc. announced that Cary Baetz has joined Boots & Coots as Chief Financial Officer.

"Cary has that combination of financial, M&A and Wall Street experience we were searching for, and fills what I believe is the final gap to a solid and highly capable management team," said Jerry Winchester, President and Chief Executive Officer. "He possesses a strong finance and strategic background and has the drive and energy to be successful as our CFO."

Before joining Boots & Coots, Baetz had served as Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary for Chaparral Steel since its spin-off from Texas Industries in 2005. Prior to that, he worked in several financial positions of increasing authority for Texas Industries from 1996 to 2005, up to the position of Director of Corporate Finance in 2002. From 1993 to 1996, Baetz served as Relationship Manager and Assistant Vice President for Wells Fargo. He served as a financial analyst for Microprocessors Unlimited from 1990 to 1993 and as an investment advisor for Dean Witter Reynolds from 1988 to 1990. Cary received his B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Oklahoma State University and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Arkansas.
