Enventure Appoints New VP of Engineering, Technology

Enventure Global Technology has announced the appointment of Greg Bailey as Vice President of Engineering and Technology. In this position, Bailey is responsible for leading and managing the advancements of SET solid expandable technology and service lines.

"Greg's advanced engineering background and strong technical leadership make him a crucial key in driving our solid expandable technology initiatives to the next level," President and CEO Ray Ballantyne said. "His industry experience and expert understanding of tubular goods, bolsters Enventure’s ability to continue bringing advanced expandable solutions to the industry."

With more than 20 years of engineering experience, Bailey will lead Enventure’s engineering and research and development divisions in producing solution-based technology. Prior to joining Enventure, Bailey worked for Grant Prideco, where he served as the company’s vice president of engineering in the tubular technical division. Bailey has also served in various management capacities with Hydroil and FMC, and was president and owner of a technical services business for several years.

Bailey received his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama and is a licensed professional mechanical engineer in Texas. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) certified by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and he is also an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). Bailey holds several patents and has published technical papers at the Offshore Technical Conference, with the International Association of Drilling Contractors and SPE.
