Ryland Oil Names New Senior Petroleum Engineer
Dick Findley, Chairman of Ryland Oil Corporation, has announced the appointment of Richard Pershall as Senior Petroleum Engineer. Pershall is a drilling and completion engineer with more than 28 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining the Company Pershall spent 4 years as Operations Manager with Halliburton Project Management, where he was primarily responsible for supervising and managing the drilling and completion operations of several projects throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and into Canada. Prior to joining Halliburton, Pershall was a Technical Representative/Completion Consultant for Baker Oil Tools. From 1996 to 2001 Pershall was employed as Technical Sales Engineer for Schlumberger Oilfield Services. He has extensive experience in engineering and project management in complex geological environments. Pershall has a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Pershall will be based in the Company's Denver office.
