Eni Snags Indonesian West Timor Block
Following an International Licensing Round, Indonesia has awarded a new exploration block to Eni.
The West Timor Block is located in onshore and offshore the south-west region of Timor Island and encompasses some 4,075 square km, of which 2,725 square km are offshore and 1,350 square km are onshore. Eni will be the Operator and the sole holder of the license.
This new important award confirms Eni's commitment as a leading explorer of Indonesia's frontier basins that have the potential to produce significant hydrocarbon resources.
