AGR Inks Maintenance Agreement with StatoilHydro

AGR Field Operations announced that they have entered into a framework agreement on preventive and corrective maintenance on all cranes and lift equipment at StatoilHydro's plant at Mongstad. The agreement has a two and a half years duration, with an option of further two plus two years.

"We are very pleased to have entered into such an extensive and important agreement with StatoilHydro, being one of the world's leading oil and gas suppliers. We hope this is the start of a long-lasting cooperation for the joint benefit of both companies," says Kjell Toft, head of integrity services at AGR Field Operations.

The contract is a significant contract for AGR Field Operations, and the first where AGR places a full-time service team with the client throughout the entire contract period.

"Our long-term strategy is to intensify work towards the major players in the oil and gas sector in order to develop a portfolio where we evolve strategic partnerships with the clients. We have the know-how, expertise and well documented results supporting that we deliver flexible and cost-efficient solutions," said Toft.

Recently AGR Field Operations also announced that they had signed an agreement with StatoilHydro for inspection and certification of the company's non-complex lift equipment. The agreement covers StatoilHydro's North Sea operations, from Sleipner in the South to Snohvit in the North. The contract covers 15 offshore and 4 onshore installations.
