Sontrach Hits Gas Pay at Tirechoumine-2
Sonatrach has made a new gas discovery with the Tirechoumine-2 well located on the Ahnet Block in the In Salah region of Algeria.
Gas was encountered in the Gedinnien Devonian reservoir and flowed at a rate of 2072 cubic meters per hour on a 32/64" choke at 349 psi.
Sonatrach says this is the sixth discovery made this year. Three were as sole operator and three were with other partners.
