StatoilHydro Scores Consent for New Treatment, Drilling on Oseberg Ost
StatoilHydro ASA has been granted consent to use a new mud and cement treatment module and to start production drilling on Oseberg Ost. Drilling and intervention of seven wells will be conducted from the Oseberg Ost facility using the existing ram rig and the new mud and cement treatment module.
Start-up of the first drilling operation is contingent on the facility’s upgrading activities and will be in May 2008. The duration of the activities applied for is expected to be about three years.
